Position Details
Salary Range: $100,000-$175,000 annually, depending on experience. This is a full-time exempt position.
The development work can be performed at various locations, including remotely, at the company office in Utica, NY, or the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in Rome, NY. For the right candidate, a remote work arrangement is possible.

Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will support our Mobile Logistics portfolio in creating AR/VR experiences in support of the DoD. Research Intelligence (RI) will enable discovery and reasoning over market data, to allow for informed decision-making for our customers. This candidate will:
- Develop captivating VR applications and experiences using platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Create high-quality 3D assets, environments, and characters optimized for VR performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and build VR experiences.
- Optimize VR applications for performance, ensuring smooth and engaging user experiences.
- Stay updated on VR/AR/MR trends, exploring new technologies and tools.
Education and Certifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer programming, game development, software engineering, or a closely related technical field. We will consider candidates with associate degrees or certificates in the areas listed above in combination with experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of professional experience
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency with a 3D engine such as Unreal Engine or Unity, with a strong grasp of real-time 3D graphics, 3D modeling, and animation. Experience with shaders, Blueprints, and computer programming is required.
- Ability to create visually stunning and immersive VR experiences, with a keen eye for detail and realism.
- Strong analytical skills to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues and problem-solve effectively
- Effective teamwork and communication skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven track record in VR development, with expertise in VR platforms, hardware, and software.
- Experience with augmented reality (AR) development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in additional 3D software (Maya, Blender, Autocad).
- Experience with Android/iOS/React-Native AR development
- Version control experience (Git).
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for, at minimum, Secret access to classified information.
Travel:
This position is expected to require 10% travel.
