Job Description:
As a Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will work as part of an innovative team to research, prepare, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be trusted to complete tasks independently, begin leading others in completing tasks, and contribute to the overall team effort to solve challenging problems for the benefit of our customers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Support high-priority projects, ensuring smooth implementation across various facilities.
- Organize and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track project progress and align activities.
- Facilitate meetings, document action items, and ensure timely follow-up for completion.
- Organize recurring strategy sessions and calls to maintain alignment and progress.
- Conduct up to four site visits to monitor progress, address challenges, and implement corrective actions.
- Perform assessments during site visits to identify barriers, risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance on implementation challenges and ensure alignment with program goals.
- Support the development of promotional content, including brochures, flyers, videos, and other materials.
- Assist in creating comprehensive briefing materials, such as presentation decks, reports, talking points, and RFI responses, for senior leadership.
- Provide graphic design and video production support for program-related content.
- Develop and manage strategic communications to promote program objectives and keep stakeholders informed.
- Assist in drafting language for relevant policies, directives, and other official documents.
- Contribute to the development of program policies, procedures, and objectives to ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
- Contribute to identifying, mitigating, and tracking potential risks to the program’s success.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to program standards across all deliverables and activities.
- Assist in budget requests, formulation, and planning to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Support the acquisition process, including managing vendor relationships and overseeing procurement activities.
- Provide monthly status updates through reports and dashboards that summarize project activities, resource usage, timelines, risks, challenges, and accomplishments.
- Ensure that all reports and dashboards clearly reflect implementation progress and key milestones achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, public policy, economics, political science, communications, planning, technology and policy, math, statistics, engineering, physical science, or related discipline
- 3+ years of relevant, professional experience
- Curious and open-minded approach to work
- Thrive in a continuous Build-Measure-Learn cycle
- Engage with technology—with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Human-Centered Design, design thinking, and/or service design background
- Experience consulting or working for the Federal government
Job Location and Travel Expectations:
- This position is remote. Some travel (<25%) is anticipated.
- Some meetings will be conducted on-site with customers in Washington, D.C.
