Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will work as part of an innovative team to research, prepare, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be trusted to complete tasks independently, begin leading others in completing tasks, and contribute to the overall team effort to solve challenging problems for the benefit of our customers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Manage and execute project support, leading a multidisciplinary team of expats in areas such as human factors, customer experience, data analysis and system design to ensure successful execution.
- Oversee tasks such as creating project timelines, designing and developing prototypes, conducting usability assessments and coordination efforts to drive project success.
- Facilitate the use of authorized digital collaboration tools for both internal and external team members and participants.
- Apply human-centered design methods, including data analytics, UX and UI design, and human factors engineering.
- Leverage various methodologies and tools to plan, manage, and implement transformation projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and a timely delivery.
- Collect and organize relevant data and assumptions for the proposed design, identifying information gaps and collaborating with essential members to develop patient-centered healthcare systems.
- Build upon existing design artifacts to develop new and enhanced artifacts that align with project objectives.
- Follow established guidelines for clinical processes, system-user interactions, and interface design, ensuring consistency with industry standards and proven methodologies.
- Manage multiple direct reports, ensuring efficient planning, production, and delivery of program initiatives.
- Manage multi-task contracts of varying complexity, sizes, and types, ensuring effective oversight and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, program management, communications or related discipline
- 6+ years of relevant, professional experience in program management or related fields.
- Proven experience in managing a Program Management Office (PMO) and supervising staff, including the ability to recruit, train, and develop team members.
- Experience in the creation of strategic communication materials (e.g., executive briefs, presentations, and reports) for senior leadership or external stakeholders.
- Curious and open-minded approach to work

- Engage with technology—with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Human-Centered Design/Design Thinking, employee experience, customer experience, and/or service design
- Experience consulting or working for the Federal government
Job Location and Travel Expectations:
- This position is remote. Some travel (<25%) is anticipated.
- Some meetings will be conducted on-site with customers in Washington, D.C.
