ABOUT THE ROLE

Techno is looking for a QC Inspector / Auditor who will be responsible for ensuring compliance, quality, and financial integrity across capital projects through field inspections, audits, and documentation review. This role involves verifying that construction activities meet specifications and regulatory requirements while also assessing project documentation and processes for accuracy and compliance. The individual will work across multiple project sites and teams to identify risks, track issues, and support corrective actions. This position is critical in maintaining quality standards and ensuring accountability throughout project execution.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform field inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards
  • Audit project documentation, cost records, and compliance processes
  • Monitor adherence to regulatory, contractual, and quality requirements
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings, risks, and corrective actions
  • Maintain audit logs, records, and documentation tracking systems
  • Support resolution of quality and compliance issues
  • Collaborate with project teams to improve quality control processes


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7–10+ years of experience in construction inspection, QA/QC, or auditing
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure or railroad construction
  • Experience with compliance audits and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to document findings and communicate effectively
  • Experience supporting public agency or transit projects preferred

The expected salary range for this role in the New York City Metropolitan Area is $55 - $95 per hour. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process
