HR Coordinator
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Techno is looking for an HR Coordinator to support daily human resources functions across our corporate and field teams. This role will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, engagement, and HR compliance while helping maintain efficient HR processes.
- Talent Acquisition duties such as sourcing, resume reviews and interview coordination between candidates and hiring managers.
- Participate/Lead employee engagement exercises and strategies.
- Support with onboarding check-ins as directed by HR leadership.
- Provide new hires with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) packages and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Coordinate the ordering, inventory, and distribution of company swag and employee materials.
- Post to company social media accounts (website and LinkedIn) on company activities as needed.
- Track employee completion of required training, field certifications, licenses, and other company-required credentials.
- Participate in periodic field/site visits within the NYC area to maintain visibility with employees, support HR initiatives, and better understand field operations.
- Help employees understand basic HR processes, available resources, and where to go for assistance.
- Promptly escalate complaints or other sensitive employee matters to senior HR leadership.
- Assist with preparing materials for new hires.
- Maintain awareness of company policies and consistently direct questions regarding interpretation or exceptions to HR leadership.
- Coordinate information and follow up on action items across multiple team members and departments.
- Manage and prioritize multiple administrative tasks and requests while meeting deadlines.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing materials, and coordinating internal communications.
- Support project teams with tracking documents, invoices, timesheets, expenses, and other administrative information as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
- Assist with preparing and formatting reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and other project-related documents.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Help identify and address administrative needs to keep projects and office operations running efficiently.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the New York office as needed.
- Take on additional administrative and project support responsibilities as the needs of the team evolve.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of Human Resources, talent acquisition, administrative, customer service, or related experience preferred.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate comfortably with employees, candidates, managers, and senior leadership.
- Basic interviewing and candidate screening skills, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to review resumes against established position requirements.
- Comfortable learning sourcing techniques using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Ability to learn HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse a plus).
- Strong customer-service mindset.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion.
COMPENSATION
The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $60,000-$70,000/yr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
