Sales Operations Manager

Tecovas is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to lead the building and scaling of the Tecovas operation to support our newest sales channel, wholesale. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Wholesale Operations,  you will problem solve to deliver results for our customers, create and maintain operational infrastructure, and analyze data for actionable insights, all to support the growth of this rapidly expanding channel.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

Sales Enablement

  • Manage B2B sales platform, including sales programming and item catalogs
  • Build and maintain accurate line sheets to support selling
  • Create tools and resources to support the Sales and Customer Experience teams, including new hire training
  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows in coordination with Sales and Trade Marketing

Operations Management

  • Oversee wholesale fulfillment process, from order receipt to shipment, ensuring accurate and timely execution across Customer Experience and Logistics
  • Partner with Sales, Merchandising and Inventory Planning to set end consumer pricing (MAP policy) and audit marketplace on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance
  • Problem solve as needs arise to support a best-in-class customer experience

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and scale the necessary internal processes to support a rapidly growing sales channel, partnering closely with key departments (Sales, Merchandising, Inventory Planning, Logistics, Accounting) to drive operational efficiency and effective communication
  • Project manage key wholesale initiatives that require broader company resources
  • Serve as an internal point of contact for Wholesale channel in supporting broader company objectives, including seasonal merchandising strategies, ad campaigns, annual planning, and more 

Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze fulfillment and sales data to identify trends and make sales and process recommendations
  • Provide timely, relevant sales performance updates and insights with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience and Inventory Planning to analyze demand and recommend actions to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Partner with broader Wholesale team to build and maintain product-level forecasts, providing timely, relevant information to Merchandising and Inventory Planning

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-8+ years of experience in sales operations, sales, supply chain, or a related area, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing processes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams

  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with NetSuite, Elastic Suite and Tableau is a plus.
  • You are an effective collaborator who communicates clearly and kindly
  • You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic, customer-centric mindset, and passion for the brand
  • You can navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
