- Partner closely with in-house design, merchandising, and marketing teams to create a cohesive product story each season.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including licensees and factory agents, ensuring product integrity and alignment with brand standards.
- Identify opportunities to grow and evolve the women’s business, using both customer insight and market awareness to inform decisions.
- Lead assortment planning and buying for DTC and eCommerce, ensuring the right product mix, depth, and pricing to drive the business
- Support and help grow the wholesale business, identifying opportunities to expand distribution while maintaining brand positioning
- Manage samples and data accuracy across platform and tools
Experience we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in women’s apparel design, merchandising, or product leadership.
- Proven experience owning product from concept through production and launch.
- Experience working with both internal teams and external partners such as licensees, factories, or agents.
- Strong understanding of fit, fabrication, and garment construction.
- Ability to balance creative vision with commercial performance.
- Familiarity with western, heritage, or lifestyle brands
- Bonus points for experience building or scaling a women’s category within a growing brand
What you bring to the table:
- You are a strong product leader with a clear point of view and the ability to translate ideas into compelling products.
- You have a deep understanding of the women’s customer and what drives her purchase decisions.
- You can move seamlessly between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
- You are highly collaborative and know how to work across teams and with external partners.
- You have strong instincts for brand, style, and storytelling.
- You can operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and bring structure where needed
