WWL/WUPL-TV, the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate in New Orleans, LA, is looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Producer to work on the production of TV and digital marketing materials to promote WWL Louisiana, its commercial clients, and community partners. Responsibilities:

  • Write, shoot, and edit daily video marketing for both live and streaming newscast content.
  • Write and produce commercials for local clients and community partners that drive awareness and revenue.
  • Design still and motion graphics for multiple platforms, including TV, streaming, social media, web, and more.
  • Collaborate with other team members to produce creative marketing materials for WWL Louisiana and its clients
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and implement new ideas into your work.
  • Bring creative ideas to the team to elevate our marketing efforts
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in broadcast TV station OR at a corporate marketing / creative agency.
  • Portfolio that shows demonstrated skills with videography, video editing, motion and graphic design, writing, and producing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
  • Strong writing skills and ability to transform complex information into simple and compelling ad copy.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of the creative process including shooting, lighting, graphics, videography, non-linear editing, and post-production.
  • Proficient with various camera models, including Canon and/or Sony FS cameras.
  • Sharp aesthetics for video editing, graphic design, and typography
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of team members throughout the creative process.
  • Manage, prioritize, and track multiple projects while still meeting deadlines
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new and emerging technology including AI
  • Ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs., climb or balance, kneel or crouch
  • Must be willing to work in New Orleans, LA. This is not a remote position.
  • Must have ability to work flexible hours when needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
