Responsibilities:
- Strategic Operations Leadership:
- Develop and implement the marketing operations strategy to optimize the performance of all functions.
- Partner with head of consumer marketing and regional marketing directors to drive efficiency and scale best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to define marketing goals, objective and key results (OKRs), and benchmarks.
- Process Management & Optimization:
- Create and manage scalable marketing processes that drive efficiency across the marketing team, including project management, campaign workflows, and reporting.
- Identify and implement marketing automation tools to improve lead generation, nurturing, and conversion processes with emphasis on artificial intelligence.
- Examine and explore new tools that could drive quality and results for entire team.
- Campaign Analytics & Reporting:
- Oversee the tracking and analysis of marketing performance metrics, ensuring accurate data collection and actionable insights for leadership in partnership with research function.
- Wide Orbit and Digital Inventory Strategy:
- Manage the overall wide orbit and inventory of all stations.
- Collaborate with traffic specialists and TEGNA commercial operations to build a seamless process
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Partner with research, consumer marketing, technology, digital, client partnerships to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with creative teams to streamline the production of marketing assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably within the media, entertainment, or digital marketing industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong vision and understanding of all the potential ahead.
- Exceptional communication and project management abilities.
- Experience in local media preferred
- Familiarity with omnichannel marketing strategies, including digital, social, and traditional media preferred
This position is eligible for the Company's bonus plan(s).
Pay Range
$150,000 - $175,000 USD

Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.
Regardless of participation in TEGNA medical plans, ALL employees and their eligible family members receive nine free virtual doctor’s appointments with a physician through Teladoc, and 12 free annual therapy sessions with a licensed clinician through Spring Health.
TEGNA offers a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) benefit as well as nine paid holidays per year.
