We are seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Performance Marketing Manager to lead the execution and optimization of paid marketing campaigns across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing performance marketing campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition, driving conversions, and maximizing ROI. You will manage multi-channel campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve results. This role requires a balance of analytical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
This position can sit at any TEGNA station location.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute paid marketing strategies across digital channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn, display, and programmatic platforms to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Campaign Management: Own end-to-end management of performance marketing campaigns, from ideation and execution to optimization and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Optimization & Testing: Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, bid adjustments, audience targeting, and creative iteration to maximize ROI and lower customer acquisition costs (CAC).
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (CPA, CPC, ROAS, LTV, etc.), creating detailed reports that inform business decisions and future marketing strategies.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Coordinate marketing efforts across channels to ensure a seamless and cohesive customer journey, leveraging insights from one platform to improve performance across others.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate advertising budgets across channels to ensure efficient use of resources, driving the best possible return on investment.
- Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with content and creative teams to develop high-performing ad creatives, landing pages, and messaging that resonate with target audiences and enhance campaign performance.
- Customer Insights & Targeting: Leverage customer data and segmentation to refine targeting strategies and deliver personalized ad experiences that increase engagement and conversions.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive activity to ensure that performance marketing efforts remain cutting-edge and effective.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external agencies, technology vendors, and ad platforms to ensure optimal campaign execution and access to the latest tools and strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, and programmatic channels.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics (CPA, ROI, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and the ability to use data to optimize campaigns.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and other relevant performance tracking platforms.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns, driving growth and meeting business objectives.
- Experience in A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative optimization for performance improvement.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Pay Range
$100,000 - $125,000 USD
