TEGNA owned KUSA-TV has an excellent Full Time opportunity for a talented individual to work both in-front and behind the camera for daily lifestyle/sales show "Colorado & Company." As Producer, you will be working with a multitude of clients, writing and creating show segments and additional content that will entertain and inform viewers/users. Collaboration with the Executive Producer, fellow producers and host is a must. You will support the daily live show production. As Correspondent, you will appear on-camera for live shots, pre-taped pieces, community content and other content as assigned. Experience in shooting and editing is required. You will also fill-in as host when needed. The Producer/Correspondent must have a friendly on-camera presence, a passion for storytelling and the ability to engage audiences. This role requires someone who EXCELS at: collaboration, a positive teamwork mindset, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines. 

Responsibilities: 
•    Develop and produce engaging content across various platforms (broadcast, social media, website, email marketing, etc.).
•    Shoot, write, edit compelling sales-driven and enterprise content that resonates with target audiences. Vertical video production experience a plus.
•    Work closely with a multitude of clients in a positive and professional way - understand their needs and bring their visions to life.
•    Appear on camera for sponsored or enterprise content.
•    Fill-in as host
•    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards
Essential Daily Functions:
•    Work the hours based on your assigned schedule.
•    Attend and contribute to daily CO & CO meetings. Help manage and coordinate in-studio guests and assist production crew during live program
•    Create and post digital content daily.
•    Be prepared to appear on camera, shoot and/or edit every day.
•    Works closely with Executive Producer and other segment producers daily to enterprise engaging content.

Qualifications: 
•    3-5 years television experience in on-camera work. Digital content creation a plus.
•    A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
•    Accuracy in writing and spelling
•    Strong understanding of sales content writing and audience engagement.
•    Excellent communication, organization and client management skills.
•    Ability to work in a team and independently.
•    Experience in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar) a plus.
•    Other duties as assigned.  

Requirements:
•    Valid driver's license
•    Minimum 3-5 years producing experience in a television market. Experience in lifestyle and/or live programming a plus. 
•    Comprehensive understanding of social media 
•    Must have excellent verbal and writing abilities: Experience in advertorial writing a plus. 
•    Must have the ability to work under pressure with assigned deadlines
•    Ability to interact productively and positively with fellow employees
•    Ability to operate a variety of production software such as Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
•    Should have a solid understanding of on-air production techniques in the control room and studio, as well as field production.

Pay Range

$28 - $32 USD
