Job Description
As a Senior Global Compensation Partner, you will be responsible for providing global compensation services for employees in India, US, CAN and EMEA.
The successful candidate will proactively partner with client-facing People Partners and Business Line Management to identify and address compensation issues and evangelize Tekion’s Total Compensation Philosophy and Strategy to the clients supported. This position is expected to represent the client’s point-of-view in key corporate compensation initiatives and the corporate point-of-view with client groups. We are looking for candidates who have the aptitude to understand our complex data, be detailed, and accurate from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively partner with HR and Business clients to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues
- Design company equity and salary ranges and update as needed. Build ranges for new countries as necessary.
- Proactively ensure that all ranges meet the company’s overall philosophy and provide for strong recruiting and retention of employees.
- Perform ad hoc job analysis using quantitative and qualitative research methods. This includes reviewing job descriptions, analyzing internal and external sources of data, collaborating with leadership to understand business needs, and applying industry knowledge to provide compensation consultation
- Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives
- Maintain job architecture and ensure data integrity of job codes, job leveling, job titles, salary ranges, and other related compensation elements in the HR system
- Lead merit and bonus process in HRIS, including budget setting, project management, management training
- Manage the annual salary survey calendar, participate in annual salary surveys and benchmarking studies to maintain the company’s competitive market position
- Develop and deliver compensation and compensation review process training to employees and leaders.
- Contribute to compensation practices and programs that are externally competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with the company’s compensation philosophy and business priorities
Skills and Experience
- Strong understanding of the compensation practices in the India market
- Equity program design and administration experience
- Strong knowledge of global pay structures and expert level experience building compensation ranges
- 8+ years of experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation Fundamentals
- Prior experience working with large amounts of data, utilizing strong analytical skills to interpret compensation trends and build intelligence through reporting, with high attention to data validity
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally across all levels of the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively across Human Resources teams to support shared goals
- Ability to analyze large data sets, draw conclusions, and provide actionable guidance
- Experience working globally with partners across different time zones

The salary range for this position is $110,880 to 187,500 The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a (bonus or commission) whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Base Salary Range
$110,880 - $187,500 USD
