Job Description

As a People Generalist at Tekion, you will be an integral part of the HR team, providing essential support for various people-related functions across the organization. You will partner with People Partners and People Managers to implement HR processes, assist with employee engagement, support talent acquisition, and help with performance management and employee relations. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with People policies, manage HR metrics, and support HR initiatives that foster a high-performance culture at Tekion.

This Includes:

  • Provide input and support to People Partners on strategic planning activities, helping align HR processes with business goals.
  • Handle routine employee relations issues in partnership with People Partners. You will be the first point of contact for all Employee Relations (ER) related matters and routine questions, with the ability to escalate complex cases to the People Partners. Routine questions should be handled through Flashbot.
  • Administer performance management tools and processes, supporting employees and managers through feedback and evaluation systems.
  • Coordinate training sessions in collaboration with the Learning & Development (L&D) team and track training completion and development progress.
  • Assist with the implementation of change initiatives in collaboration with the People Partner and business leaders. Use change management strategies created by the People Partner team to support the communication and implementation of changes.
  • Communicate People policies to employees and ensure adherence by working with managers to hold employees accountable. Flashbot should always be the first point of contact for routine People-related questions.
  • Administer employee surveys and support engagement activities alongside People Partners to foster a positive work culture.
  • Compile and report People data to support People Partners analysis. Work closely with People Partners on key outcomes and solutions and assist in delivering reports to teams (M2-M4).
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with People policies and procedures, collaborating with People Partners and People Managers.

You Should Have:

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in an HR or People-related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage employee relations and build strong relationships.
  • Experience with HR tools and systems such as HRIS or other people management platforms.
  • Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to building a positive organizational culture.

Add-ons:

  • Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement platforms or survey tools.
  • Prior experience working with People Partners on strategic HR projects.
