- Automotive Industry Expertise: Leverage extensive experience in the automotive industry, including dealership operations or automotive software, to understand and address the specific needs and challenges of our customers.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned automotive accounts, building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Advanced Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and guidance on API integrations, ensuring that our solutions are seamlessly integrated into customers’ existing systems and processes.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to tailor Tekion’s solutions to meet the evolving needs of automotive businesses. Advocate for customer needs within Tekion to drive product enhancements.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential technical issues specific to the automotive sector, implementing proactive solutions to prevent disruptions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Customer Enablement: Conduct specialized training sessions for automotive customers, ensuring they can fully utilize Tekion’s products to optimize their dealership operations or other automotive-related processes.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance metrics relevant to the automotive industry, providing insights and recommendations to customers and internal teams. Use data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience. A background in automotive technology or engineering is highly preferred.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, particularly within dealership operations or automotive software solutions. Prior experience as a Technical Account Manager or a similar customer-facing technical role in the automotive sector is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background with hands-on experience in API management and troubleshooting, digital technologies, and automotive software systems. Familiarity with DMS, CRM, or other automotive dealership management tools is a significant advantage.
- Communication & Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders within the automotive industry. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with dealership personnel and other automotive professionals.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues within the context of automotive operations, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.
- Customer Success Focus: A track record of driving customer satisfaction and success within the automotive industry, with an emphasis on leveraging technology to enhance business outcomes.
