We’re looking for a Legal Operations Analyst II with proven experience supporting corporate legal teams within a SaaS or software company. The ideal candidate has done more than just use legal tech - they’ve implemented, optimized, and scaled it. You’ve worked cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Finance, and IT, and understand how to streamline contract workflows, manage legal systems, and deliver actionable insights. This role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments and is ready to bring structure, strategy, and efficiency to a lean, modern legal team.
Job Description
Lead Tekion’s legal operations function and drive strategic initiatives to optimize the legal department’s efficiency, effectiveness, and business impact. In this senior leadership role, you'll develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies, oversee contract lifecycle management, lead litigation operations, establish department-wide metrics and KPIs, and manage the legal technology stack. You'll collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align legal operations with broader business objectives while building and mentoring a high-performing legal operations team. Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership – Develop and implement comprehensive legal operations strategy aligned with business objectives; serve as key member of legal leadership team; advise General Counsel on operational improvements and technology investments.
- Contract lifecycle management – Design and oversee enterprise-wide contract management processes; implement and optimize CLM technology; establish governance frameworks; develop playbooks and templates; lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline contracting.
- Litigation and risk management – Develop and oversee litigation management strategy; establish case assessment frameworks; implement legal hold processes; oversee insurance claims; develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Metrics and performance management – Design and implement comprehensive KPI framework for legal department; develop executive dashboards; analyze performance trends; identify improvement opportunities; present metrics to leadership.
- Financial management – Oversee legal department budget planning and forecasting; manage outside counsel spend; implement alternative fee arrangements; develop cost-saving initiatives; collaborate with finance on accruals and reporting.
- Technology and innovation – Lead evaluation, selection and implementation of legal technology solutions; develop legal tech roadmap; drive adoption of automation tools; identify emerging technologies to enhance department capabilities.
- Public company readiness – Develop and implement legal operations infrastructure to support public company readiness; establish processes and systems for SEC compliance and reporting; create governance frameworks; design and implement disclosure controls and procedures; build scalable operations to support post-IPO requirements.
Qualifications & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in legal operations
- Demonstrated expertise in legal technology implementation and optimization
- Strong understanding of contract management processes and systems
- Experience supporting legal operations in a public company environment, including familiarity with SEC compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to drive organizational change
- Experience in high-growth technology environments preferred

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Base Salary Range
$77,600 - $129,500 USD
