Job Description
Tekion is a fast-growing Cloud based SaaS provider in the Automotive space. While we scale Tekion to the next level, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our TPM team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple complex projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, to drive the successful execution of our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple technical programs and projects from inception to completion.
- Partner with Product/Engineering teams to ensure program roadmap; align on launch timelines and communicate to OEM partners / senior leadership team
- Effectively communicate with cross functional teams and drive issue to resolution
- Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in a Cloud-based SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex technical projects.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and SaaS products.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a related role.
- Experience in a Cloud-based SaaS product company is highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Agile certification is a plus.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects and programs.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and define a path to resolution.
- Ability to demonstrate accountability and integrity
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
