We come together several times a year for team and company-wide offsites to align on goals and strengthen relationships. Attendance at these events is expected and fully supported.

About the Role

The next generation of automotive technicians is being trained right now — in trade schools, technical colleges, and vocational programs across the country. Our mission is simple: when those students walk into their first shop, Tekmetric should already be the platform they know. We're building a direct pipeline from the classroom to the workforce, and this role is at the center of that effort.

This is a zero-to-one role. There is no existing playbook, no established process, and no template to follow — that's the opportunity. You'll be building the foundation of Tekmetric's education program from scratch, alongside our field rep and VP of Business Development. The strategy will shift as we learn. Priorities will reorder. What You'll Do

  • Partner with the field rep and VP of BD to identify and open relationships with trade schools, technical colleges, and vocational training programs
  • Help nurture relationships with program directors, instructors, and school leadership — supporting the field rep with research, outreach, and follow-through
  • Build curriculum-ready materials — lesson plans, case studies, and lab exercises — in close collaboration with early-adopter instructors
  • Design and maintain a library of tutorials, quick-start guides, and sandbox environments that make it easy for instructors to onboard and teach with Tekmetric confidently
  • Equip our sales and partnerships teams with the education narrative, helping them speak to workforce development in customer conversations
  • Surface partner success stories and impact metrics for use across Marketing, PR, social, and brand campaigns
  • Gather feedback from instructors and students to continuously refine our messaging, positioning, and program structure
  • Document everything — learnings, wins, dead ends — and turn it into a repeatable playbook for national expansion

What You'll Bring: 

  • Proven experience in prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building (prior BD experience preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in environments where the message is still being figured out
  • A high-ownership mindset — you don't wait for direction, and you're energized by building something from nothing
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to pivot — strategies will change, priorities will shift, and early assumptions will get rewritten. You see that as part of the work, not a frustration
  • Curiosity and coachability — you learn fast, ask the right questions, and adapt quickly
  • Bonus: interest or background in partnerships, education, workforce development, or the automotive industry
