About The Role…

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions that support enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data warehousing, cloud platforms, and ETL/ELT pipelines, along with a strong foundation in dimensional modeling using the Kimball methodology. Familiarity with AI data readiness and enabling machine learning (ML) pipelines is a strong plus.

What You’ll Do…

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data architectures that support business intelligence, analytics, and AI use cases.
  • Lead the implementation of data warehouse solutions using Kimball dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
  • Architect modern data platforms leveraging Snowflake, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Create strategy, assessments, vision, roadmaps, and business case deliverables.
  • Conduct assessments, analyses, and interviews to identify client issues and develop comprehensive data strategies using standard consulting practices (facilitation, interviewing, gap analysis, etc.).
  • Lead design of a modern data platform architecture based on requirements.
  • Design data models and pipelines to support AI agents.
  • Build robust, automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and design solutions that meet both operational and analytical needs.
  • Implement data governance, data quality controls, and security standards across the data architecture.
  • Enable data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI/ML initiatives, including feature store integration and model training workflows.
  • Recommend best practices and emerging technologies to improve data architecture and AI data readiness.

What We Look For…

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Kimball dimensional modeling and modern data warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience designing and optimizing Snowflake data environments.
  • Proficient in designing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and DevOps practices related to data platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Experience working on AI/ML projects, including preparing data for model training and serving.
  • Knowledge of AI data readiness principles, such as feature engineering, data labeling, and versioning.
  • Familiarity with machine learning platforms
  • Understanding of real-time and streaming data architectures
  • Experience with data governance tools and frameworks.
  • Experience enabling the enterprise use of AI across operational workflows.
  • Certifications in Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or data architecture/design.

 Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
