About the role
The Workflow Consultant serves as the subject matter expert on patient flow throughout the development and implementation of TeleTracking solutions. This role is responsible for assessing current workflows, designing operational efficiencies, and delivering measurable improvements in productivity, patient experience, and clinical outcomes.
This is a client-facing role requiring compliance with vendor credentialing standards for on-site engagements. The position demands up to 85% domestic and some international travel.
What you will do
- Provide strategic consultation to health system executives, clinicians, and operational teams throughout project lifecycles, including post-delivery. Act as a thought leader in patient flow and a driver of sustainable change.
- Collect and analyze current state workflows, assess organizational readiness and maturity, and manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder relationships in accordance with company policies.
- Lead detailed workflow design sessions with cross-functional teams, document process changes, and align training strategies with stakeholder needs.
- Translate agreed-upon process changes into system configurations and settings applicable to TeleTracking solutions.
- Facilitate workflow validation sessions to evaluate organizational readiness for change adoption.
- Complete required education and training to support multiple complex projects and roles within the department.
What you will bring
- Minimum 1 year as an Application Specialist, clinical systems analyst, or solution consultant.
- At least 2 years in clinical, patient placement, or health system operations roles.
- Minimum 1 year of experience leading stakeholder engagement throughout projects.
- Preferred: 2+ years of client-facing experience with an understanding of client/vendor dynamics.
- Advanced public speaking and presentation skills to lead change management and user adoption efforts.
- Strong writing skills for clear documentation of outcomes and processes.
- Deep understanding of capacity management and patient flow, with the ability to identify and communicate process improvements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Composure under pressure and a consistently positive attitude.
- Proficiency in application reporting and alignment with client outcomes.
- Experience in designing complex health system workflows.
- Skilled in facilitating discussions across diverse professional backgrounds.
- Excellent conflict resolution capabilities.
- Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the Workflow Consultant role
- Preferred: 1+ years’ experience with TeleTracking solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or closely related field (clinical, operations, IT) is required.
License or Certifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and passport are required.
