As a testament to our success, we're proud to stand as a financially stable and profitable company. Our robust profitability allows us not only to invest in pioneering technologies but also to foster an environment of continuous learning and growth for our team.

Our collective vision is a world where borderless connectivity fuels limitless innovation. By joining us, you can be part of laying the foundations for this interconnected future. We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

The Role

We're looking for a highly technical Product Manager to own how developers discover, build on and grow with Telnyx.

Telnyx operates a global infrastructure platform spanning communications, AI inference, GPUs, edge compute, databases and real-time applications. We've invested heavily in building the underlying infrastructure. Now we want to make it dramatically easier for developers to understand what's possible, build useful applications and get into production.

This is a hands-on product role leading a small team of six engineers across Developer Relations and Product-Led Growth. We aren't looking for a traditional DevRel leader or someone whose primary skill is managing people. We want a strong engineer with excellent product judgment who understands developer experience, builds things personally and knows how to turn developer adoption into revenue.

The Team

You'll lead a team of six: three DevRel engineers (sample apps, open source, technical content and demos) and three PLG engineers (activation, AI agents and automation, self-service conversion and expansion). You'll report to the Chief Operating Officer.

What you'll own

  • Build applications developers actually want to use — Lead the DevRel team in building production-quality sample applications, integrations, templates and reference implementations on Telnyx. Publish them on GitHub, maintain them and make them easy for developers to deploy and extend. Turn those applications into compelling technical content, live demos and developer distribution.
  • Drive product-led growth — Own the PLG operation responsible for moving developers from signup to meaningful usage and revenue. Use product telemetry, behavioral signals, AI agents and human intervention to identify friction, accelerate onboarding, improve conversion and expand self-service usage.
  • Make the developer experience better — Get hands-on with our APIs, SDKs, documentation and infrastructure. Work directly with product engineering to identify and resolve the issues that make products difficult to use. Our reference applications should continuously test whether our products are genuinely ready for developers.
  • Build AI-native growth systems — Work with Growth Engineering and RevOps to develop automated workflows for developer acquisition, onboarding, account intelligence, technical assistance and expansion. We believe small teams of excellent technical people supervising powerful automation can outperform much larger traditional GTM organizations.
  • Connect the entire developer journey — Applications attract developers. Developers experiment with the platform. PLG helps them succeed. Production usage generates revenue. The feedback from that process improves our products and informs what we build next. You'll be accountable for making that system work. .

What we're looking for

  • A strong software engineering background. You should be comfortable building and debugging real applications, working with APIs, reading code and understanding complex infrastructure.
  • Experience as a Technical Product Manager, founding engineer, technical founder or similar role with substantial personal responsibility for shipping software.
  • Exceptional product judgment, particularly around developer tools, APIs, documentation, onboarding and usability.
  • Familiarity with AI infrastructure, LLMs, inference, cloud platforms, real-time systems or developer infrastructure.
  • Understanding of product-led growth, including developer acquisition, activation, conversion, retention and monetization.
  • Ability to work with AI coding agents, automation frameworks, product analytics and modern developer tooling.
  • Strong technical communication skills. You can explain complicated technologies clearly and recognize what makes a useful demonstration or reference application.
  • Comfortable leading a small technical team while remaining deeply involved in the actual work.

Experience at a developer infrastructure company is valuable. Experience personally building and growing something developers love is more important.

How we'll measure success

Your primary objective is growing developer-led revenue on Telnyx.

We'll look at activated developers, production applications deployed, self-service conversion, usage expansion and retention. We'll also measure the adoption of our reference applications, how effectively our developer content attracts users and how quickly developers can get from signup to a working application.

We care about applications developers actually use, not demos shipped for the sake of demos. We care about developers reaching production, not just generating signups. And we care about revenue, not vanity metrics.

Who will thrive here

Someone who would rather build a working prototype than spend a week debating a roadmap. Someone who notices a broken onboarding experience and immediately starts fixing it. Someone who understands both what makes infrastructure technically excellent and what makes developers want to use it.

You should be capable of leading six very technical people because you have the engineering ability, product instincts and judgment to make everyone around you more effective.

This is a builder's job, not a professional management job.

We're looking for someone who can make Telnyx a platform developers genuinely love building on, and turn that into a meaningful business.
