What you'll do:
We are seeking a hands-on, operationally focused Senior IT Systems Administrator to manage the implementation, integration and optimization of our core IT cloud infrastructure, endpoints and systems. Supporting a remote-enabled workforce of 200+ employees, you’ll partner closely with our Managed Service Provider (MSP), internal security team and act as a technical liaison across departments. While the primary focus is on maintaining and optimizing IT systems, the role offers the opportunity to support emerging areas such as digital innovation and AI-driven tools.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Manage endpoint and identity platforms, including device compliance, group-based access and lifecycle automation.
- Provide Tier-3 support for escalated technical issues in coordination with the MSP.
- Assist with the onboarding, integration and enablement of new SaaS tools, ensuring they align with company standards for security, access and scalability.
- Maintain configuration standards and implement automation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Guide best practices around SaaS integrations, identity and shared tool usage (e.g., Microsoft 365, Asana, Loop).
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the design, implementation, and optimization of IT infrastructure, architecture, and cloud-based platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft Defender).
- Act as the technical counterpart to the MSP: define SLAs, approve workflows and handle Tier-3 escalations.
- Oversee identity and endpoint management, including compliance policies, provisioning automation and device health.
- Collaborate across departments (e.g., HR, Legal) to support tool implementation, integration and onboarding.
- Conduct quarterly access reviews, backup restore testing and participate in audit preparation (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Write and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to reduce manual tasks and enhance systems reliability.
- Own vendor relationships and contracts related to core IT systems — including renewals, license optimization, performance reviews and compliance alignment.
- Generate reports for device compliance, license usage and user lifecycle metrics.
- Manage and maintain network hardware (e.g., switches, routers) in coordination with the MSP and office IT footprint.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure, with proficient technical skills across Microsoft cloud platforms and SaaS ecosystems. You should be proactive, service-oriented and collaborative — able to work cross-functionally with IT, Security and business teams to deliver practical solutions. Since we value collaboration, we encourage in-person work at the office three times per week to support teamwork, knowledge sharing and faster decision-making. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
Required qualifications:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure within a cloud-based, SaaS-heavy environment.
- Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin, Azure AD, Entra ID, Intune and Microsoft Defender suite.
- Solid skills in automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell) to support provisioning, reporting, and system health monitoring.
- Experience with SaaS integration projects, including SSO setup (SAML/OAuth), SCIM provisioning and cross-functional onboarding.
- Experience working with or managing deliverables from an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) in a distributed workforce context.
- Prior experience supporting a distributed workforce across multiple time-zones
Employee Benefits:
- Employee equity program
- Private health insurance
- Company lunch contribution
- Phone and broadband covered
- Centrally located office with easy public transit access
- Regular company events and team activities
- Various discounts
- Calm and Classpass Apps
- Flexible work environment
