Marketing Analytics Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Analytics and Operations Manager to lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of marketing data, driving data-driven strategies and business decisions. In this role, you will manage the marketing technology stack, including Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that enhance marketing performance and campaign outcomes. Additionally, you will provide senior leadership with strategic recommendations based on in-depth analysis and emerging market trends.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role with the opportunity to significantly impact our organization with room to grow and scale.
What you'll do:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing channels, including digital, social media, email, and offline campaigns
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key marketing metrics, such as ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
- Analyze customer behavior and segmentation to identify target audiences and optimize marketing strategies
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop data-driven strategies that align with overall business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts
- Utilize marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Marketo, SFDC, Looker, etc to gather and analyze data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in marketing technology and analytics tools
- Lead the integration and optimization of our marketing technology stack and work with data engineering to maintain a single source of truth for data
- Oversee the daily operations of our marketing automation platform (Marketo)
- Ensure data integrity and seamless integration between Marketo and Salesforce.com
- Design and maintain the data schema to ensure robust data architecture and flow across marketing systems
- Develop and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into the full customer journey with a focus on key marketing metrics
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CMO and senior leadership based on data analysis and market trends
- Regularly update the CMO on marketing operations performance, campaign effectiveness, and key metrics
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CMO, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, or a similar role, with a deep understanding of marketing data, reporting, and technology stacks
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and experience ensuring seamless integration between them
- Excellent analytical skills with a track record of interpreting data to inform business decisions and optimize marketing strategies
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Omni or similar platforms, with strong proficiency in SQL to query databases and track key marketing metrics
- A collaborative mindset with proven ability to work cross-functionally across marketing, sales, product, and finance teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing technology and analytics
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, data science, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $106,208 - $147,000
- This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan
