Role Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing at Temporal, you will play a critical role in driving our digital marketing strategy and execution on performance channels.
Your efforts will directly impact our company's growth as you manage and optimize our performance marketing across key digital platforms. This role offers the opportunity to build and grow a high-performing digital marketing team under your leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive user acquisition and engagement across all paid media platforms, including SEM, paid social, video, direct media buys, and more.
- Manage day-to-day operations of performance marketing campaigns, including keyword bidding, budget allocation, and performance analysis.
- Build a multi-step digital marketing strategy that aligns paid promotion’s and retargeting efforts with the right content for the buyer's journey.
- Work with data analytics and marketing ops teams to establish a performance attribution methodology for self-serve sign ups and MQL acquisition.
- Continuously monitor and optimize campaign performance, making real-time adjustments to maximize CAC and ROAS metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, content, and data analytics, to align digital marketing strategies with broader company goals.
- Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting on performance and socialize the results across the broader team on a routine basis.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and performance advertising, applying this knowledge to improve campaign effectiveness and act as the subject matter expert to educate the wider marketing team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on performance marketing and managing paid media campaigns.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing campaigns across Google and YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and various direct media buys, with a focus on driving self-serve sign-ups and MQLs.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Experience in marketing to developers is a plus.
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $168,000 - 210,000
- This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
