Account Executive, India

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Executive in Bengaluru, India to join our Sales Team and drive revenue through both new business acquisition and expansion within existing enterprise accounts.
In this role, you will own a key sales territory, navigating large, matrixed enterprise organizations and selling to highly technical personas such as software engineers, engineering leaders, and architects. As a strategic partner to our customers, you will bring a proven ability to lead complex sales processes, uncover opportunities within massive organizations, and drive adoption of Temporal’s solutions. What You'll Do
- Own and manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to close, with a focus on both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing enterprise customers
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow Temporal’s footprint across multiple divisions within large enterprises
- Engage with software engineers, architects, and technical stakeholders to position Temporal effectively across a wide range of use cases
- Navigate complex technical and business discussions, aligning Temporal’s capabilities with customer priorities
- Build long-term, trusted relationships with customers, identifying ongoing growth opportunities
- Collaborate with customer success, solutions architecture, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive adoption
- Identify and capitalize on high-value opportunities to scale revenue within massive enterprise accounts
- Adapt and refine sales strategies to meet the evolving needs of enterprise customers in a rapidly changing market
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a proven track record of success in both new business and expansion sales
- Experience selling to software engineers, technical decision-makers, and engineering leaders within large enterprises
- Excellent ability to navigate complex technical discussions and align Temporal’s capabilities with customer needs
- Demonstrated success in closing deals within matrixed enterprise organizations
- Expertise in growth-focused sales motions, including identifying opportunities and scaling revenue
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust across multiple levels of an organization
- Consistent track record of achieving or surpassing revenue goals
- Experience working with developer tools or infrastructure products
- Familiarity with consumption-based sales models and driving adoption of technical products
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present to both technical and executive audiences
- Passion for technology and a deep curiosity for solving complex customer challenges
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is INR 6,416,667, 50/50 split
- This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan
