Summary
We’re seeking an Junior IT Support Specialist on our IT team. You’ll be working closely with IT, Security, HR, and other groups to respond to technical issues for our employees, manage access to corporate systems, assist in employee onboarding, equipment purchasing, and a number of other areas. You will also be expected to pick up new technologies and expertise on the job and make decisions in some cases without close supervision.
Temporal is a remote company. This role is expected to be full-remote, with working hours from 7a-4p EST.
What You’ll Do
- Triage, prioritize, and resolve incoming IT support requests with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Provide primary IT support and manage our standard endpoints (macOS & Windows) and SaaS environment (Google Workspace, Entra ID, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, etc.)
- Assist with employee account provisioning, hardware procurement lifecycle, and access requests for third-party software
- Create and maintain documentation around standard operational procedures, best practices, and how-tos
- Collaborate with other teams (particularly Security, HR, Engineering, and Executive Assistants) on various projects & problems
- Occasional travel to company events and local onsite work
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelors Degree (any) or equivalent work experience in IT Support
- Beginner-to-intermediate level understanding of common operating systems (macOS & Windows) and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals
- A bias to action and a history of self-education
Nice to Have
- Experience in IT Support, particularly experience managing Google Workspace, IDPs (Okta or Entra ID), macOS, device management tooling
- Experience working with executives and engineers
- Programming experience sufficient for scripting and automation
Compensation
- The estimated pay range for this role is $75,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and location.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal’s equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
