GTM Enablement Manager, Product
About Us
Summary
Temporal is rapidly scaling its field organization, and setting up every new hire to succeed from day one is critical to meeting and exceeding our most ambitious goals.
As a GTM Enablement Manager, Product, you'll own release-driven enablement as well as foundational and ongoing product curriculum across our customer-facing teams. The goal isn't to turn Account Executives into engineers - it's to raise the floor so every AE can have credible conversations, while ensuring Solution Architects and Technical Services get the structured enablement they need
If you're energized by making complex, technical products click for customer-facing teams, and you're equally comfortable building the curriculum as you are partnering cross-functionally to get it right - this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Own field readiness for product releases. You'll partner with PMM, Product, and SMEs to translate new product introductions and platform updates into field-ready enablement. This means understanding the customer journey, assessing what the field needs, and building the right enablement treatment to drive outcomes. You'll use field feedback and data to continuously improve this process.
- Build foundational product curriculum for customer-facing teams. You’ll craft role-specific learning journeys that make product knowledge actionable for different audiences. In order to do so, you’ll leverage existing content - curating, adapting and filling the gaps where needed.
- Drive ongoing product knowledge. You'll own a regular cadence of product enablement calls, product certifications, and curriculum updates that ensures field readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally. You'll work closely with Product, Product Marketing and field SMEs to ensure enablement reflects the latest product direction and field reality. You'll also help bring field perspective back to PMM and Product - what's resonating, what's not, and where the gaps are.
Who You Are (Need to Have)
- You're technically curious and capable. You can learn complex technical products quickly and translate them into language that resonates with sellers and buyers. You don't need to write code necessarily, but you need to understand what Temporal does and why it matters at a conceptual level. A strong level of baseline literacy will be critical to working effectively with our SMEs.
- You've done product enablement before. You've owned or significantly contributed to translating product releases into field-ready enablement for a technical product. You understand the PDLC to GTM motion from roadmap to field readiness - with at least 3-5+ years relevant experience in enablement, technical sales, or a related GTM role.
- You understand sales - through a product lens. You've either carried a quota yourself or put in the work to deeply understand how sales teams operate and how product is woven throughout - nobody’s learning the product for product’s sake. Sellers trust you because you understand their reality and speak their language.
- You're a builder. You thrive where things aren't figured out yet. You're able to move fast while also holding a high bar for the quality of your work, and you bring structure and clarity to everything you ship.
- You're AI-forward and always raising the bar. The way enablement gets built and delivered has fundamentally shifted. You're already using AI to create content faster, translate technical complexity, or iterate on programs - and you're actively looking for what's next.
- You build trust and work well across the org. Product enablement touches PMM, Product, SA, Technical Services, and the field. You build trust by consistently translating the time and inputs from key stakeholders and SMEs into outputs with outsized impact.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If
- You have a deep passion for Temporal's mission and what we're building for developers.
- You've enabled teams selling highly technical or infrastructure products, selling to developers, and/or navigating bottoms-up OSS/PLG and tops-down sales motions.
- Familiarity with Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.
- Experience enabling multiple audiences (e.g. Account Executives, Solution Architects, Technical Services).
