Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Human-Centered Designer to play a pivotal role in business development and sales of HCD services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design thinking, strategy, and client relationships. You will bring deep understanding of Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies and apply them to drive develop compelling proposals.
This is a unique opportunity to combine creative problem-solving with commercial acumen, championing HCD within our business development pipeline while collaborating closely with our design and consulting teams.

- Solid foundation in Human-Centered Design methodologies; willingness to deepen this expertise.
- Background in research psychology, social science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in data analysis and rigorous customer research.
- Skilled at transforming insights into tangible design solutions.
- Agile in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Effective communication skills, adept at building relationships and trust.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The role and responsibilities:
Business Development
- Partner with business development teams to craft compelling proposals, pitch decks, and case studies that showcase the value of HCD services.
- Participate in client meetings, translating client challenges into HCD opportunities and shaping value-driven solutions.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to position HCD services strategically in proposals and pitches.
- Collaborate with internal teams from consulting, AI and technology to drive engagements from vision to value
Human-Centered Design Expertise
- Lead discovery workshops and co-creation sessions with clients to uncover user needs and business goals.
- Translate research insights into actionable strategies, experience maps, service blueprints, and design recommendations.
- Support scoping of HCD projects, framing design processes and methodologies for client engagements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build trusted relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Partner cross-functionally with consultants, strategists, and designers to deliver high-quality HCD proposals and solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between the design and sales teams, ensuring alignment on opportunities and deliverables.
The experience we are looking for:
- HCD Expertise: Strong grounding in Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, or Service Design methodologies.
- Sales/BD Exposure: Experience supporting or leading proposal development, sales pitches, or business development efforts in consulting, design, or innovation sectors.
- Consulting Mindset: Ability to quickly understand client needs, identify opportunities, and translate them into actionable design strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and writing skills to craft compelling narratives and proposals.
- Collaboration: Experience working closely with business development, sales, and delivery teams in a consulting or agency setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Business, Social Sciences, Psychology, or related fields.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles (consulting, design strategy, or BD-focused roles).
- Proficiency with collaboration and prototyping tools (Miro, Figma, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of emerging design and innovation trends, with a passion for connecting them to business value.
