Tableau Developer I Vietnam (12 mths contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver solutions that provide measurable value.
• Build optimized data extracts, data models, and data sources to support scalable reporting.
• Ensure dashboards follow data visualization best practices and deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure consistent data definitions and governance.
• Support production deployments, enhancements, and troubleshooting of Tableau solutions.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and relational data structures.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions and intuitive visual dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a data-driven environment.

Preferred:

• Exposure to ETL tools, cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), or analytics engineering is a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance and BI best practices.
