Your Role:
- Design and implement full-stack features that deliver seamless user experiences, supported by high-performance services within the Tenable One ecosystem.
- Develop and scale frameworks and tools that empower internal teams, partners, and our community to customize and extend platform integrations.
- Bridge the gap between complex backend functionalities—such as data ingestion and AI-driven workflows—and intuitive, highly performant frontend interfaces.
- Drive architectural decisions across the UI, API, and service layers, championing modular, maintainable, and consistent design patterns.
- Engage in cross-domain technical reviews and discussions, sharing expertise to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous technical excellence.
- Partner with Product, Design, SRE, and Security teams to deliver technical solutions that are both user-centric and aligned with business goals.
- Maintain a "production-first" mindset, investigating issues end-to-end—from the browser to the data layer—while implementing robust preventative measures.
What You'll Need:
- BSc in Computer Science or a related degree from a recognized institution, or a strong track record in full stack development with advanced technical skills.
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated delivery ofproduction features across both frontend and backend.
- Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, including TypeScript, component design, and state management for complex data-driven UIs.
- Proficiency in one or more modern backend languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, Go, C#, or equivalent, with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, authentication/authorization flows, and integration of third-party tools and services.
- Experience designing and consuming APIs that power rich, interactive frontend experiences.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, microservices).
- Working knowledge of data stores and messaging systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Kafka, or Redis) sufficient to reason about performance and data flow end-to-end.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with modern CI/CD and frontend build/deployment workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience debugging issues across the full stack—from browser devtools to server logs and traces.
- A proactive approach to task prioritization and a history of owning features from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience working in the cybersecurity industry or with security-centric data pipelines and protocols is an advantage.
- Bonus: Experience building developer-facing tools, SDKs, low-code/configuration UIs, or AI-assisted experiences
