Consultant / Senior Consultant, Financial Advisory
The Role
We are looking for talented professionals to join our Financial Advisory team in Latin America based in Mexico City. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of strategic and financial situations, including capital structure advisory, M&A, performance improvement, and restructuring. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in investment banking, capital advisory, private equity, or restructuring, who are looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As a Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will work closely with senior leadership to deliver high-impact solutions to clients. You will support corporates, lenders, and investors in evaluating strategic options and transactions, optimizing capital structures, and navigating complex financial challenges. This includes a wide range of complex situations, with a focus on delivering tailored, actionable advice.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service
- Contribute to and lead workstreams on advisory projects, including capital raising, refinancing, M&A, and restructuring
- Build and review financial models, including integrated three-statement models, liquidity forecasts, and valuation analyses
- Prepare client presentations, board materials, and stakeholder communications
- Manage junior team members and contribute to a high-performance culture
- Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Knowledge Acquisition
- Builds client relationship skills, sector knowledge and continues to develop leadership skills.
- Continues to build technical expertise, broader business advisory and people management skills.
- Understands the market, topical issues and our Restructuring propositions.
People and Leadership
- Supports leadership in creating an inclusive environment.
- Proactively supports the development of colleagues by providing timely feedback and identifying development opportunities e.g. mentoring/ buddying, supervising less experienced colleagues.
- Continues to develop personal brand.
Business Development
- Starts to own elements of and proactively contribute to business development.
- Demonstrate an expanding network of external and internal peer level contacts which provide opportunities to meet and share ideas on initiatives.
- Assist in the running of a sector or marketing key account team, including participating in, and organising, marketing events.
- Assists in preparing research documents, pitches and client presentations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong academic background in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- CFA, CPA, CAIA, or equivalent qualification is a plus
- We are seeking individuals with a strong financial foundation, analytical rigor, and a strategic mindset: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience preparing decks and executive presentations
- Interest and demonstrated relevant experience in financial advisory, investment banking, or with either directly relevant experience, or strong transferrable skills gained in a client facing role within a professional services company
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support working in a high-performance team.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, pressure environments, always putting the client at the centre.

- Ambition to learn and develop further.
