Description
We’re looking for a high-performing Marketing Senior Manager to drive content strategy across our global marketing programs. This role will develop and execute high-impact thought leadership and content programs and connect them to key audiences across channels (i.e. media, digital, events) and formats.
This role is a critical part of the Marketing team and is ideal for candidates that thrive in dynamic environments, move seamlessly between strategy and execution, and are energized by wearing multiple hats. You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to shape and deliver programs that position our brand and executives credibly and consistently in market.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy:
- Support strategic planning and delivery of global marketing priorities, in alignment with overall company strategy and objectives
Content Leadership
- Lead development of annual flagship content initiatives, define distribution strategy, and optimize across channels
- Own end-to-end content workflow for content initiatives, including evaluating and prioritizing thought leadership opportunities from across the business
- Identify emerging industry trends and themes we should be speaking to
- Partner with subject matter experts to shape opportunistic ideas into market-ready assets
- Develop and elevate evergreen content initiatives – internal communications, podcast, executive positioning, event programming
- Oversee production and publishing across channels, and ensure consistency in voice, messaging, and quality standards
Media:
- Partner closely with Media team to proactively build media story angles, align content calendar with media strategy, and amplify executive profiles
Analytics & operations:
- Proactively track performance and translate metrics into insights that optimize strategy and improve outcomes.
- Develop and champion processes and frameworks that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Leadership & Innovation
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members.
- Build trust-based relationships across business lines and functions, leading effectively within Teneo’s matrixed structure to drive collaboration.
- Leverage emerging tools and technologies, including AI, to improve content development, campaign execution, and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or communications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Strong experience conceptualizing, writing, and publishing executive-level thought leadership
- Proven ability to translate complex business topics into compelling narratives
- Experience managing high-visibility content programs and multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Strong project management capabilities with excellent prioritization and decision-making skills
- Strong understanding of media strategy and executive positioning
- Experience working with senior executives and external media
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in B2B or professional services firms
- Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
- Experience with Monday, HubSpot and/or Google Analytics

Base Salary Range: $170,000-180,000 (Compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed.)
Total Compensation Package: Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and perks.
Flexible Work Policy: Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three days a week.
