The Role

As a Fullstack Software Developer Intern at Tenet3, you will support research and development efforts in systems security engineering, platform information technology, and trusted and assured microelectronics. You will focus on backend and frontend web application development while working with modern engineering and cloud tools.

In this position, you will develop integration tests to verify features and performance for our flagship digital modeling platform, MeTRA®. This internship is ideal for students passionate about software engineering and fullstack development who are eager to write clean, well-tested code and solve impactful, real-world security challenges.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop backend and frontend features for web applications and digital tools
  • Create integration tests to verify functionality and performance for MeTRA®
  • Work with technologies such as Django, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and GitLab

Essential Job Duties

  • Full stack Development: Focus on backend and frontend application development using modern frameworks and engineering tools.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop integration tests to verify software features and platform performance for the MeTRA® platform.
  • Cloud & Automation: Gain hands-on experience building and deploying web applications, utilizing Docker and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Version Control & Collaboration: Coordinate software development activities and manage codebases with team members using GitLab.
