The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integrated member of Tenon’s cross-functional development team, helping build and evolve the user-facing web applications and backend services that power our platform.

You will work across the stack to turn product ideas into reliable, scalable software, collaborate closely with other engineers and cross-functional partners, and help shape the technical architecture and development practices as Tenon continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full-stack features across Tenon’s web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to design and develop performant, scalable, and reliable services.
  • Design and develop new APIs and integrations that support our products and customers.
  • Extend and improve our data pipeline through event-driven services and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Refine product ideas and roadmap items into actionable technical requirements and deliverables.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to help maintain a high engineering quality bar.
  • Mentor and support other engineers through informal knowledge sharing, pairing, and code reviews.
  • Help triage, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues that reach production.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and maintainability of our applications.
  • Advocate for extensible, secure, and maintainable software patterns and engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our development processes, technical architecture, and engineering standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience working on a collaborative engineering team.
  • Strong experience developing full-stack applications and working across both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
  • Experience working with a cloud platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience writing automated unit and integration tests.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and work effectively through ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote or distributed environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures or distributed systems is a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, marketing technology, or CRM platforms is a plus.

Compensation

  • $120k - $150k annual salary based on experience
