Enterprise Account Executive

United States

Tenon is building the future of enterprise marketing automation on ServiceNow.

Tenon Marketing Automation gives marketing teams a single platform to plan, build, execute, and measure campaigns and customer communications using the data and workflows already available across the enterprise. Because Tenon is built natively on ServiceNow, organizations can connect marketing with customer service, sales, IT, and other teams without adding another disconnected platform.

Tenon’s technology is also available from ServiceNow as ServiceNow Marketing Automation, powered by Tenon.

About this role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to sell Tenon to Fortune 1000 companies that already run ServiceNow.  Over 85% of the Fortune 500 have ServiceNow, and you will have the opportunity to expand those customers into the marketing department with Tenon.  As an enterprise account executive, you will prospect directly into the marketing department of these enterprise clients while leveraging the ServiceNow platform owners in IT to be a key ally.  You will also partner with the ServiceNow field sales team (~6,000 sellers) to help secure new business opportunities.

  • Manage complex sales, showing the value in the technology we’ve built and the outcomes our customers gain from our solution
  • Help expand the rapidly growing market by leveraging your sales skills to grow our pipeline, expand our brand, and ultimately, increase revenue by closing deals

  • Manage both inbound and outbound customer communication
  • Drive revenue by proactively reaching out to both existing and prospective customers
  • Negotiate contracts with customers and successfully close deals
  • Use your passion for software sales to anticipate customer needs and questions, listen well, and nurture crucial relationships with our clients
  • Learn and effectively communicate pricing models as we continue to define and modify them in our early-stage company

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of sales experience at a B2B SaaS company; ideally, you’re experienced in selling enterprise marketing technology
  • A successful sales record in B2B SaaS and a relentless desire and ability to generate pipeline and close deals
  • A growth mindset and willingness to go the extra mile for the team’s success, not just personal wins
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and co-workers
  • A focus on learning and crushing our repeatable sales process
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to grow in a startup environment
  • An ability to move quickly, multitask, and adapt to our rapidly changing and growing market
