
Sr. Engineer, Digital Design Verification - Chiplets

We are looking for a talented Design Verification engineer with strong communication skills to help us build high-performance AI hardware and continuously improve our verification processes. In this role, you’ll work across IP and SoC domains, applying advanced methodologies like UVM, emulation, and FPGA prototyping.
This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, Ottawa or Boston.

Who You Are
- A verification engineer with strong communication skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfortable writing in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python, and scripting in Bash, Make, or YAML & using modern IDE’s with AI assistants.
- Experienced in building and owning testbenches: stimulus, monitors, checkers, and coverage strategies as well as execution frameworks.
- Curious about computer architecture and interested in how ML can improve chip design.
What We Need
- Skills in verification of digital IP and SoC logic using UVM, C/C++, cocoTB, emulation, and FPGA prototyping.
- Comfort in owning test plans, development, execution, functional coverage, assertions, and metrics to drive closure.
- Strong experience in block-level DV with coverage-driven constrained random verification.
- Ability to validate performance and power aspects of the full SoC.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
