
SoC Performance Architecture Lead

We are seeking an experienced SoC performance architect for our fast-growing automotive SoC developments. In this role you will work on all aspects of performance modelling and analysis related to chiplet based Automotive SoCs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to ensure that our target devices are performant.
This role is remote, based out of United States.

Responsibilities:
- Drive all aspects of performance for Tentorrent automotive chiplet systems.
- Develop SoC and subsystem level performance use case descriptions.
- Develop models of interconnect and memory subsystem behaviour for target workloads
- Work with external vendors on performance planning and drive the work to completion.
- Drive internal activities, including simulation, modeling and emulation.
- Plan and lead the automotive performance analysis activities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- Experience analyzing ML workloads
- Solid understanding of CPU, interconnect and memory subsystem behavior.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, interconnects and memory system behavior
- Proven experience in modelling and analysing complex workloads for SoCs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex system-level issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
