Tenstorrent is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead the evaluation and adoption of AI-powered development tools across our engineering stack. In this role, you will fine-tune and implement cutting-edge models, apply them to real compiler and infrastructure workflows, and help define how engineers at Tenstorrent build software. Success in this role requires deep ML experience, full-stack technical understanding, and the ability to turn emerging research into practical tools.
Who You Are
- A senior engineer with experience across the ML stack, including model design, training, fine-tuning, and evaluation
- Comfortable fine-tuning LLMs, building RAG pipelines, and customizing open-source models to support engineering workflows
- Skilled in C++ and Python, with experience in AI frameworks, compiler toolchains, and performance-critical systems
- Motivated by the potential of AI-assisted development and eager to apply it in real engineering environments

- Engineers who understand how AI tools can accelerate development across the full Tenstorrent stack, from TT-MLIR and Metal to system scripting and model workflows
- Contributors who can fine-tune and deploy AI agents that assist with writing, debugging, and optimizing production code

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
