
Sr. Staff Engineer, Automotive System Software

Tenstorrent is seeking a Automotive System Software Engineer to help shape the future of intelligent vehicles. In this role, you’ll design and optimize system software that sit at the intersection of hardware, safety, and performance. This is a chance to work on next-generation SoCs that power autonomous and embodied AI systems.
This role is remote, based out of the United States.

- A systems-level engineer with exceptional technical breadth and depth in semiconductor and software infrastructure.
- Proven ability to translate complex market requirements into precise technical specifications.
- Deep understanding of hardware-software interfaces, particularly in emerging compute platforms.
- Comfortable navigating and communicating in complex cross-functional technical environments.
- Serve as the critical technical translator between automotive market insights and system software implementation.
- Design technical requirements that bridge Tenstorrent's CPU IP capabilities with automotive computing needs.
- Collaborate closely with hardware IP, product management, and software infrastructure teams.
- Create technical roadmaps that align market opportunities with engineering capabilities.
- Gain deep insights into cutting-edge AI-optimized computing architectures.
- Develop advanced skills in cross-functional technical strategy development.
- Contribute to defining next-generation compute platforms for intelligent systems.
- Expand technical leadership capabilities in a fast-moving technology environment.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
