Tenstorrent is seeking an outstanding architect to evaluate and accelerate AI and high-performance computing applications across our platforms. In this role, you will profile, analyze, and optimize cutting-edge models, influencing the next generation of architectures that meet the demands of future computing.
This role is remote, based out of Taiwan.

Who You Are
- PhD or Master’s degree in Compute Science, Applied Math or related science or engineering field of study (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python and C++.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML model architectures and their execution on hardware.
- Comfortable getting deep into CPU and accelerator architecture and micro-architecture.
- Curious, collaborative, and driven to solve hard problems across the software-hardware boundary.
What We Need
- Experience bringing up state-of-the-art AI/ML models (e.g. Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen) on new hardware platforms.
- Profile and identify performance bottlenecks and guide architectural design and system optimization.
- Apply model optimization techniques (e.g. quantization, sparsity, attention) and other software and hardware features to improve performance and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML technology, integrating new ideas into Tenstorrent’s software and hardware solutions.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
