Ten Thousand is seeking an Merchandiser to lead merchandising insights in key business meetings, conduct data-driven analysis to optimize sales, and oversee site merchandising to ensure best-in-class product presentation. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to manage product launches, develop strategic email calendars, and ensure general cross functional alignment. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the merchandising function in Weekly Business Reviews (WBR), Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
- Act as a strategic leader to conduct ad hoc performance analysis to identify opportunities and chase down key drivers in the current business.
- Oversee site merchandising to ensure optimal product placement, accuracy, and presentation that aligns with brand strategy and sales goals.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure compelling storytelling and visual merchandising that aligns with brand and product priorities.
- Oversee the new product marketing calendar, ensuring product launches are strategically timed and effectively supported across marketing channels.
- Work closely with the email marketing team to develop a product-focused email calendar that supports business priorities and drives engagement.
- Hindsight all new product launches through surveys, customer interactions and data driven analysis, identifying key takeaways and performance trends to inform future assortment and design decisions.
- Manage in-season assortment strategies in collaboration with planning, including promotions, markdowns, and sales strategies, to maximize revenue and sell-through.
- Facilitate clear and actionable feedback loops between merchandising, product teams, and other cross-functional partners to align on strategy and improve execution.
- Assist in general product administrative needs such as sending packages, office organization, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, with a strong understanding of data analytics and planning.
- Strong leader the with ability to gain influence cross functionally through results and relationships
- Dynamic thinker who thrives at the intersection of analytics and creativity
- Experience with site or visual merchandising appreciated
- Extremely organized and timeline focused
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive business decisions.
