Senior Vice President, Product
TeraRecon is a global market leader in medical imaging software, trusted across thousands of enterprise healthcare institutions worldwide, including major integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers. TeraRecon is accelerating a multi-year transformation to redefine clinical intelligence and enterprise diagnostic workflows.
The Head of Product will hold single-threaded ownership across the entire global portfolio: modernizing and expanding our market-leading Advanced Visualization suite while rapidly engineering, incubating, and commercializing our 0-to-1 Agentic AI product lines (TR Insights, TR ABX, and Agentic Workflow Engines).
The executive brings an AI-first product discipline, native fluency in high-value diagnostic modalities, and an established network of clinical and health system leaders to drive joint incubation and commercial scale.
Full-Portfolio Product Leadership & P&L Scale
• Own the unified multi-year product roadmap, portfolio P&L, and R&D capital allocation to accelerate ARR expansion from $60M to $110M+.
• Drive sustenance engineering, cloud modernization, and workflow enhancements across the portfolio ($60M baseline) to maintain best-in-class customer retention (>95 NPS).
• Spearhead the 0-to-1 definition, incubation, and launch of the New AI/Agentic product portfolio (TR Insights, TR ABX), delivering $20M–$25M in incremental netnew ARR within 18 months.
• Design packaging, licensing, and pricing strategies for high-ASP enterprise AI software suites ($1M–$3M/year per health system), capturing 10–15% of imaging service line value.
AI-First & Governed Agentic Architecture
• Define the product specifications for autonomous, multi-agent clinical workflow systems capable of longitudinal context assembly, multi-system data retrieval, and ambient task execution.
• Establish deterministic guardrails, human-in-the-loop (HITL) review tiers, and algorithmic safety frameworks to ensure full FDA Software as a Medical Device (SaMD 510(k)/De Novo) and international regulatory compliance.
• Partner with the VP of AI Engineering and global software teams (~40 engineers) to translate agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, and foundation model integrations into scalable, production-grade software.
High-Value Diagnostic Domain & Hospital Operations
• Anchor product capabilities in high-value diagnostic modalities—specifically Magnetic Resonance (MR) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Map complex hospital clinical workflows across the US, UK, and Japan, identifying pre-diagnostic bottlenecks, technologist handoffs, and reading room inefficiencies.
• Build intelligent workflow solutions that automate incidental finding tracking, streamline pre-service prior-authorization, and optimize radiologist turnaround times.
• Ensure native bi-directional interoperability across hospital IT ecosystems, integrating seamlessly with leading PACS, RIS, EHR (Epic, Cerner), and VNA archives using DICOM, HL7, and FHIR standards.
Field Immersion & Design-Partner Incubation
• Spend 30% of time embedded in provider reading rooms, observation suites, and health system IT departments.
• Apply an unobtrusive, highly collaborative discovery style in acute clinical settings—observing clinician ergonomics, testing price sensitivity, and validating product hypotheses without disrupting patient care.
• Mobilize an existing rolodex of enterprise health systems / academic medical centers ready to act as immediate lighthouse co-development partners.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Innovation Officer to stress-test clinical efficacy, structure validation studies, and turn advanced research ideas into commercial products.
Organization & Cross-Functional Synergy
• Lead and mentor a dedicated global product management team of ~5 PMs distributed across the US and Bangalore, fostering an outcome-oriented, builder culture.
• Partner with Commercial, Solutions Delivery (Forward-Deployed Engineering), and Strategic Alliances teams to ensure seamless product delivery and ecosystem scale.
