Join Ternium RCM – Transforming Revenue Cycle Management in Healthcare

What You’ll Do: 
We are seeking a Controller to lead and elevate our accounting and financial operations. This hybrid role, based in Chapel Hill, NC, offers the opportunity to build and guide a high-functioning accounting organization, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute directly to the strategic financial direction of a fast-growing company. 

 

In this leadership position, the Controller will be responsible for managing, staffing, and overseeing the broader accounting function at the company level. This individual will not only ensure that the accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) but will also ensure that the support functions and processes are coordinated throughout the company to maintain optimum efficiency and controlsThis role will require the individual to provide information and guidance to management through financial statements, reports and general expertise. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the Accounting Function: Build and direct all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, budgeting, tax, and internal controls. 
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements and interpret data for management decision-making. 
  • Compliance & Audits: Manage annual audits, ensure GAAP compliance, and oversee tax filings. 
  • Strategic Oversight: Analyze financial performance to inform business strategies. 
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and grow the accounting team; manage recruiting, training, and performance development. 
  • Confidentiality & Accuracy: Maintain high standards for accuracy and discretion in all financial reporting. 
  • Systems & Tools: Utilize ERP systems and Excel to streamline financial workflows and reporting. 

 

What You Bring to the Table: 

  • 10+ years of experience in financial or accounting leadership roles 
  • CPA required 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field 
  • Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams 
  • Strong ERP and Excel skills 
  • Familiarity with GAAP, payroll, billing, collections, and budgeting 
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions a plus 
  • Healthcare revenue cycle or insurance knowledge preferred 
  • Willingness to travel as needed
