Summary

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Analyst  to join our growing team. Reporting to the Information Systems Security Manager, the Senior Network Security Analyst will manage corporate all Security technology and provide day-to-day technical support of all our systems.  This includes the Access Badging system and Database, Video surveillance, the emergency PA system, Visitor management and Intrusion detection, to provide services to Terran Orbital (TO) customers, personnel, and visitors, as well as ensure the safety and security of Terran Orbital’s operating environments, personnel, assets and facilities. The experienced networking engineer will also set up and run a small, isolated network including design, integration, maintenance and administration.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage administrative responsibilities of an isolated network.
  • Implement software patches on the network.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues to ensure maximum availability.
  • Provide help desk and administrative support for small, isolated network.
  • Develop and maintain technology strategy for the security systems across our portfolio.
  • Manage vendor personnel, budget, and contract requirements.
  • Responsible for supporting all the access control requirements to all facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to design, configure, and maintain isolated networks to include network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and servers.
  • Provide security technology requirements and standards. Collaborate closely with the technology group on our design standards, cyber compliance etc. Engage and coordinate with Facilities and both Premise and Program security.
  • Conduct maintenance, repairs, software/hardware upgrades, replacements, and commissioning.
  • Debug system issues, maintain the backend on the servers, and provide programming for the access/video/intrusion systems.
  • Coordinate closely with and maintain our premise and program security technology standards and requirements.
  • Maintain software and hardware licensing and asset management.
  • Research, develop, and test new technologies to enhance efficiencies and protection.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage design and project implementations.
  • Present risk assessments and business cases for projects.
  • Manage multiple security vendor relationships and contract requirements.
  • Provide weekly strategy, ongoing activity, and progress reports.
  • Manage the performance and uptime of the security systems.

Requirements

  • Currently possess an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Possess a valid certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements or the ability to obtain that certification within 4 months of hiring.
  • Experience with Windows. Linux experience is preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of security access control and surveillance camera systems, requirements, design, and implementation.
  • Experience in software integration.
  • Familiarity with automation utilizing scripting (such as Python and PowerShell).
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and managing physical security protection programs for numerous locations.
  • Hands-on experience and high-level technical expertise in access and surveillance technologies, systems, programming, and system deployment and management.
  • Well-versed in the development, implementation, and management of physical security system designs, maintenance, and operational standards.
  • Ability to present risk assessments and improve security system design and deployment to management team members.
  • In-depth experience in interfacing with management teams to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs.
  • Proficient at managing multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Successful management of technical and non-technical teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral, having interacted with a variety of people from the private sector, multiple Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.
  • Experience leveraging multiple agencies to develop solutions to complex interagency problems.
  • Familiar with various IC and DoD IT operating systems and applications, as well as G Suite, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint.
  • Managing and participating in developing the department budget (Capex/OPEX) with an emphasis on efficient and effective vendor supply and maintenance/response across our portfolio. Developing project scopes, budgeting, and executing security-related projects across all locations. 
  • Managing and creating new options relative to vendors and consultants currently engaged with Terran Orbital. Developing a strategy for security access and control, including CCTV and alternative access options, for review and potential adoption in the future under single or multiple vendor strategies.
  • SCIF design and project experience a plus. 
  • Ability to conduct day-to-day tasks while being responsible for managing the Identity Access Management and Physical Security programs to provide appropriate logical and physical access to Terran Orbital (TO) customers, personnel, and visitors, as well as ensuring the safety and security of Terran Orbital’s operating environments, personnel, assets, and facilities. This includes background screening and systems, Cyber coordination, and engagement as required with CIO. You will also be required to coordinate across our Gov’t security services areas for seamless support to the business and our clients.

 

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. $115,000 - $150,000 USD

Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
