Technical Training and Qualification Administrator
The TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) division has been established to pursue medical isotopes development--advancing nuclear science for significant human health benefits. We seek to support revolutionary radiotherapies for treatments of various cancers through the supply of radioisotopes. TerraPower currently has unique access to a supply of thorium for the long-term production of actinium-225 in the growing alpha therapy market and intends to expand into other nuclear related medical treatments.

Technical Training & Qualification Administrator
The Technical Training & Qualification Administrator reports to the Operations Program Manager and is responsible for developing, coordinating, and continuously improving training and qualification programs that support safe, reliable, and high-performing operations. Initially focused on radioisotope manufacturing operations and radiological safety, the role will establish and manage the planning, scheduling, qualification, and performance-management systems needed to develop workforce proficiency and operational readiness. As the organization grows, the role is expected to develop into broader program and cross-functional leadership responsibilities.
The successful candidate will combine strong organizational and program management skills with technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and leadership capability. The individual must be able to rapidly understand complex scientific, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory issues; work effectively with subject-matter experts; and translate technical requirements into structured training and qualification programs.
Responsibilities:
Training Planning & Program Execution
- Develop and manage integrated training and qualification plans aligned with operational priorities, production schedules, workforce development needs, and qualification requirements.
- Coordinate instructors, subject-matter experts, trainees, facilities, equipment, materials, and other resources; identify schedule or resource constraints and drive appropriate recovery actions.
- Provide management with meaningful training and qualification status, emerging risks, priorities, and recommended actions.
Training Development & Technical Integration
- Partner with scientists, engineers, operators, and other subject-matter experts to translate complex technical requirements into effective learning objectives, lesson plans, training materials, assessments, and practical evaluations.
- Review training content for technical clarity, consistency, and alignment with applicable procedures and requirements; lead updates as processes, procedures, equipment, or requirements change.
- Deliver classroom or facilitated training and lead technical discussions as appropriate to support workforce development and proficiency.
Qualification & Workforce Readiness
- Establish and coordinate qualification pathways, assignments, evaluations, and supporting materials with managers, qualification mentors, instructors, and evaluators.
- Monitor individual and organizational qualification status, identify gaps or stalled activities, and drive actions necessary to maintain qualification progress and workforce readiness.
Program Administration & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate and auditable training and qualification records and coordinate with Quality, document control, and corporate training functions to ensure applicable requirements are met.
- Evaluate training execution and effectiveness, support audits, assessments, investigations, and corrective actions, and identify opportunities to improve training and qualification processes.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in technical training, qualification, operations, program management, procedure development, or a related function.
- Experience in a technically complex, regulated, or quality-controlled environment; nuclear, pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical, chemical processing, advanced manufacturing, or cGMP experience preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and critical-thinking ability, with demonstrated ability to rapidly understand complex scientific, engineering, manufacturing, or regulatory concepts and translate technical requirements into structured training and qualification programs.
- Demonstrated program-management capability, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, prioritization, risk identification, and execution across multiple concurrent activities.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with scientists, engineers, operators, managers, Quality personnel, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, integrity, and ability to lead through influence, identify problems, facilitate solutions, and independently drive activities to completion.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, identify problems, and drive assigned activities to completion.
- The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly, display respect, and foster teamwork.
Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications.

Salary Range: $116,852 - $151,757
*Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
