The Opportunity

Terzo's Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with enterprise customers to deploy the platform against their most critical commercial data. You will own end-to-end customer delivery from ingesting data from customer environments (e.g. SAP, Coupa, Snowflake, Databricks), through AI model configuration and pipeline activation, to analytics workflows that surface measurable financial outcomes in weeks, not quarters.

A day's work might include building a data integration pipeline from a customer's ERP, configuring AI extraction models against a unique contract corpus, standing up analytics workflows that surface millions in cost savings, or sitting with a VP of Procurement to understand why their renewal visibility is broken. You'll use everything at your disposal including Terzo's platform, NirvanAI, the Financial Intelligence Graph to solve real problems with real dollar impact.

FDEs at Terzo don't just deploy. They feed signals back into the product. The patterns you discover in the field shape what the platform team builds next. The edge cases you solve become features. The integrations you stand up become product capabilities.

You might thrive in this role if you have

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems
• Experience building data integrations across enterprise systems including ERPs, P2P platforms, data warehouses, cloud storage, and API-based pipelines
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with comfort across backend services, data processing, and scripting
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers to understand problems and deliver solutions
• Ability to rapidly understand complex business domains and translate ambiguous customer needs into working configurations and workflows
• Comfort working in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and direct iteration with users
• Clear communication with both technical, non-technical and executive stakeholders 
• High ownership mentality where you treat customer outcomes as your responsibility

You could be an especially great fit if you have

• Prior work as an FDE, solutions engineer, or implementation lead at a high-growth B2B or enterprise company
• Hands-on experience integrating with SAP, Coupa, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar enterprise platforms
• Background in procurement, contract management, spend analytics, or financial operations
• Experience configuring or deploying AI/ML-powered workflows in production customer environments
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise data infrastructure
• Comfort with ambiguity where you've scoped and delivered projects where the requirements didn't exist until you wrote them
• Prior startup experience where you wore multiple hats and shipped under pressure
