Tessco Technologies, a leader in wireless manufacturing and retail solutions, is seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Techno-Functional Lead to design, implement, optimize, and integrate its NetSuite ecosystem. This role requires deep technical and functional expertise across Advanced Manufacturing, Warehouse Management (WMS), Finance, and RF-SMART, along with the ability to lead end-to-end NetSuite initiatives and architect scalable solutions. The candidate will play a key role in enterprise integrations using middleware platforms such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and act as a hands-on leader who effectively bridges business needs with technical execution while ensuring system scalability, reliability, and performance.

Job Description

  • Lead NetSuite implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives across multiple stakeholders while creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation for system design, code, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable techno-functional solutions
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain NetSuite SuiteBuilder, SuiteScripts, and Workflows to optimize system functionality.
  • Design and manage end-to-end integrations between NetSuite and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP, and SFTP.
  • Serve as the SME for NetSuite modules including Advanced Manufacturing, WMS, Finance, and RF-SMART.
  • Write and optimize code in Python, JavaScript (NetSuite SuiteScript), and SQL for automation, data analysis, and process optimization.
  • Implement and configure SuiteApps to enhance client user experience and system performance.
  • Lead integration strategy, including real-time and batch integrations, error handling, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Manage system updates and upgrades, ensuring smooth implementation while minimizing disruption to operations.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes by creating and refining workflows to improve NetSuite usage and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the creation of functional design specifications for new features and system improvements.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with software coding standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay current with NetSuite, OIC and Middleware best practices and other third-party applications through continuous professional development.

Skills Required

NetSuite Expertise (Must-Have)

  • Advanced expertise in SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and REST APIs for custom NetSuite development and integration.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing Workflows, Saved Searches, Custom Reports, Custom Records, and Custom UI/Print Forms within NetSuite.
  • Proven ability to develop complex custom reports and interactive dashboards within NetSuite, with proficiency in PowerBI or similar BI tools as a plus.
  • In-depth experience working with middleware technologies (IPaaS) such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Dell Boomi, and Jitterbit for seamless integrations.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within NetSuite and related integrations.
  • Deep understanding of data analysis, performance tuning, and NetSuite governance principles to ensure efficient and compliant solutions.
  • Expertise in software development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, etc.), with hands-on experience in version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code optimization.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, RESTful services, and API integrations to build scalable and reliable NetSuite solutions.
  • Expertise in creating detailed Techno-Functional design documents and effectively communicate technical specifications to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive technical initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Proficient in using Jira, Miro, Confluence, and other project management tools to track progress, manage sprints, and document workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in working directly with internal development teams, business stakeholders, and external clients.

Integration & OIC (Must-Have)

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):
  • Building integrations using OIC adapters (REST, SOAP, FTP, NetSuite Adapter)
  • Designing orchestrations, mappings, and transformations
  • Implementing fault handling, tracking, and monitoring
  • Expertise in API-led integrations, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with data exchange formats: JSON, XML, CSV.

Experience and Education

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite implementation, configuration, and customization with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability.
  • 2+ years in a Lead or Architect role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • This is an on-site/hybrid role in Hunt Valley, MD

Compensation: $160,000 - $170,000
