A Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is expected to successfully meet revenue sales objectives by identifying and developing business in a defined regional territory. Focusing on growth and expansion of OEM business while identifying new OEM’s, expanding OEM business, and maintaining professional relationships with partners, vendors, carriers, solution providers, rep firms, and OEM’s in the region. Utilizing professional sales skills to establish new customer accounts and sustaining a high degree of customer service satisfaction with existing customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with OEM’s by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
  • Establish opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options, and recommending solutions
  • Management of opportunities with timely movement through defined sales stages
  • Owner of registrations once they are registered as an opportunity
  • Work closely with management and other internal team members as well as external sales and service teams to generate high customer satisfaction
  • Identify product improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors and reporting this information to Product Management
  • Complete and maintain accurate sales forecasts, data gathering, and reports by daily use of CRM for all contacts, accounts, and opportunities
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
  • Participate in Trade Shows to expand territory networking and growth potential
  • Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business/Marketing and 5 years of success in a technical solution selling environment OR Associates degree and 10 years of success in a technical solution selling environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of OEM design or sales experience
  • Existing strong relationships within cellular M2M/IOT OEM space
  • Strong technical background in Cellular, RF, Electronic Design, IP Networking, LoRa, and Engineering
  • Proven performance of year over year quota results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Public speaking proficiency
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adhere to established deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • Ability to work alone and utilize a home office while staying on task and maintaining performance
  • PC and basic networking skills that require an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in utilizing a CRM
  • Up to 25% of travel required

  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 plus bonus potential
