Tessco is seeking an experienced and results-driven Pricing Manager to lead our pricing function and a team of pricing analysts in a dynamic B2B environment. This role is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies, pricing systems, rebate programs, and analytical processes that support revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer profitability.

The Pricing Manager will serve as a key business partner across Sales, Vendor Management, Solutions Development, Finance, and Executive Leadership, transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical expertise with exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will improve pricing accuracy, increase visibility into pricing and rebate performance, strengthen analytical capabilities across the organization, and drive measurable improvements in profitability through data-driven pricing strategies and operational excellence.

This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in office) in Hunt Valley, MD - Must be located within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pricing analysts, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain pricing systems, pricing databases, and related master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that support revenue growth, profitability objectives, and competitive positioning within a B2B marketplace.
  • Oversee rebate management processes, including vendor rebate tracking, customer rebate programs, accruals, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • Analyze pricing performance, customer profitability, margin trends, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain advanced analytical models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using Excel, Power BI, and enterprise pricing software.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Vendor Management, Solutions Development, Finance, and Operations teams to gather insights and support strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, automation, reporting capabilities, and data quality.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, controls, and business governance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in usiness, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in pricing systems management, pricing analytics, rebate management, and data management within a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring pricing analysts and managing pricing-related processes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform large, complex datasets into actionable business insights and measurable results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience presenting recommendations and business cases to senior executives.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with enterprise pricing software solutions and large-scale pricing databases.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of pricing optimization methodologies, margin management, and revenue management principles.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, or data automation tools.
  • Background in distribution, manufacturing, technology, or other complex B2B pricing environments.

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000
