What You Will Be Doing

Ideal location for this position will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or NYC, based on anticipated travel. The role is open to remote candidates who can accommodate travel requirements.

As the Head of Sales & Business Development at identifeye HEALTH, you will be the driving force behind bringing our device to patients who need it most. This is a high impact, hands-on role for someone who can sell both strategically and tactically—creating opportunities, building relationships and closing deals, while simultaneously designing the infrastructure needed to scale.

As the pioneer of our sales team, this role will take full ownership of the sales function: refining positioning, identifying target markets, and creating a best in class go-to-market playbook. At the same time, they will be actively in the field—engaging prospects, managing a pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term relationships and revenue.

This role reports directly to the CEO and is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in early-stage healthcare, understands the complexities of the industry, and wants to shape the company’s growth engine. This role will initially operate as an individual contributor—closing new business while building the scalable sales infrastructure that underpins long-term growth. This is a rare opportunity for a proven closer who can balance hands-on execution with strategic vision, all in service of delivering better outcomes for patients.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing high-value new business opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation, contracting and post sales handoff
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior decision-makers, industry influencers, and strategic partners to accelerate adoption
  • Create and refine sales assets including pitch decks, one-pagers, outreach templates, and case studies—that effectively convey our value proposition
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline, manage our CRM (Zoho) to maintain the pipeline ensuring accurate forecasting and visibility into deal progression
  • Design scalable sales processes—including deal stages, pricing strategy, and qualification frameworks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to shape our go-to-market strategy and market positioning
  • Provide actionable market intelligence from customer conversations to inform product roadmap and messaging
  • Represent identifeye at key industry events and conferences to build brand visibility, generate leads and strengthen market presence

What We Are Looking For

Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder B2B healthcare deals within medtech, digital health or AI-driven medical solutions
  • Deep industry network with proven ability to accelerate market entry, secure strategic partnerships, and drive early adoption
  • Demonstrated success launching a first product in a pre-revenue startup and driving growth from zero to $50M+ in revenue, with full ownership of commercial strategy and execution
  • Expert consultative seller and storyteller, skilled at engaging senior decision makers, shaping value propositions in real time, and translating customer needs into winning product features and solutions
  • Builder of scalable sales engines—adept at designing and implementing playbooks, qualification frameworks, pricing models, CRM strategies, and performance metrics
  • Data-driven leader with strong forecasting and pipeline management skills, leveraging CRM insights to prioritize and close high-value opportunities
  • Deep understanding of provider workflows across health systems, ambulatory care, community health, and value-based care
  • Fluent in enterprise healthcare sales cycles involving IT, compliance, legal, and operational approvals, with working knowledge of HIPAA, BAA, and security requirements
  • Thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by delivering measurable impact to providers and patients
  • Ability to travel 30-50% or as needed

What We Offer

Anticipated Compensation Package: $165,000 to $225,000 annual base salary, plus variable pay structure and equity.
 
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, operational needs, potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, equity and program-specific awards. In addition, we provide a variety of other benefits to employees including but not limited to:
