Project Requirements and Summary
- Project Focus: You will be a Manual Software Quality Assurance Tester following Agile methodologies on this project, focusing on functional and regression testing.
- Project duration: This project will start in April 2026 initially run for 6 months with a chance to extend.
- Location: This is a fully remote role for those who reside in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, or Mexico.
- Schedule: full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The expected schedule is 8 am - 5 pm CDT, with some flexibility to start later in the day.
- Must-have devices: Mac or Windows PC and Android and/or iOS mobile devices (tablet a plus, but not mandatory)
- Language: You will work 100% in English; strong written and verbal English skills are required.
- AI/LLM Tools & Support: This project will require strong manual testing skills without the use/aid of AI/LLM tools due to prohibition of use.
What would your day look like:
- Manual A/B Testing to audit variances between two or more websites/pages, and identifying and reporting any divergences between the two
- Executing smoke, scripted, and exploratory test cases on mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
- Conducting functional, localization, regression, or payment testing to ensure software applications meet quality standards.
- Reproducing issues found during testing.
- Documenting and reporting test results, including bugs and potential risks. Clearly communicating findings to the development team and stakeholders.
- Configuring and preparing test environments per the provided instructions.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products are delivered on time and meet customer expectations.
- Designing and optimizing appropriate test data.
- Providing clear feedback about outdated, incomplete, or inefficient test cases.
- Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
What do you need to succeed:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Manual Software Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (such as Jira, TestRail, Xray, or similar).
- Experience with mobile and web applications frontend testing; backend testing is a bonus.
- Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues.
- Ability to solve basic technical tasks required during testing - such as test data generation, log capturing, and basic analysis, working with browser developer tools, network logs analyzers, etc.
- Experience in working in agile teams in a remote environment - proven track record of communication and collaboration with different stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and others.
- Good understanding of SDLC.
- Experience with these primary testing categories: functional and regression testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Charles, Insomnia, and Postman is a strong plus.
- A certificate of completion of BBST Foundations, Bug Advocacy, Test Design, and Domain testing courses or similar is not required, but it is nice to have.
- Minor scripting or programming experience is not required, but it is nice to have.

- Comfortable with a frequently changing environment and able to adapt quickly.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
